Hey there! I'm Jessi Heddleson. I'm so glad you're here!
I'm from a tiny town in Oklahoma where I met my husband, Cutter, when I was 7 years old. We were high-school sweethearts and finally got hitched in 2016. He is the best, and he is the reason I get to do what I love. We welcomed our sweet little boy, Rafe, in 2020 and we are over the moon. My boys are the light of my life.
I started my photography journey in 2017 and went full-time with my business in 2019 after leaving my career in accounting. I discovered my passion for photography at 13 years old, and I'm so excited to bring life to this long-time dream. I'm a natural light, people-centered photographer focusing on Senior portraits, Couples and Engagement sessions, Weddings, and Boudoir. I find so much joy in using my passion to give clients photos that they love - photos they can look back on and cherish for a lifetime!
I learned to play guitar when I was 6 years old and still pick it up every now and then. My dream was to play guitar in a rock band until I was a teenager (haha). I started with a drum set around 9 years old, followed by a little piano a few years later. I even learned to play a few songs on the banjo once! I still hope to learn violin one day.
One of our favorite things to do is travel. Cutter and I have spent many hours in the car on road trips across the country, and we've seen such gorgeous scenery from coast to coast. My favorite beach has been Cannon Beach in Oregon, but my all-time favorite place I've ever been is Salem, MA. Our goal is to see all 50 states together!
Okay, so I wasn't even born yet, but the '80s culture has always appealed so much to me! Give me all the headbands, leg warmers, and Aqua Net. Catch me on any given day singing to Prince or rocking some Motley Crue. And please, take me to every single Guns N' Roses concert. I reminisce about this decade like I was actually there, haha!
